Now that you've got your core agreement, protect the REST of your business with The Online Genius Template Library!

From Bobby Klinck,

Lawyer & Online Entrepreneur

I’ve taken what I’ve learned from graduating from Harvard Law School with honors, practicing law for 16 years, and running my own online business and packaged it up in the legal templates that online entrepreneurs need to get their “legal stuff” squared away quickly, easily, and affordably.

Templates, Templates, and More Templates

The Online Genius Template Library is your comprehensive source for the legal templates you need as an online entrepreneur. With over 25 templates, here’s what’s included right now:

Website Disclosures

Website Terms of Use

If you have a website… you need a Terms of Use. It’s just that simple. This policy protects your online content, sets the basic rules of the road, and protects you along the way. The Terms of Use Template include all the legalese and sections you customize based on your business.

Website Privacy Policy

If you collect information from people online (and you obviously do!), you have to have a Privacy Policy. This isn’t optional; it’s legally required! The Privacy Policy Template includes all the legalese, so you just have to fill in some basics about your business to get your website all legal.

Website Disclaimer

You should LOVE your disclaimer because it’s all about protecting you from disputes. You’ll make clear that visitors can’t complain if the guidance on your site doesn’t work for them… and you’ll disclose those pesky things we all have to unless we want the Federal Trade Commission knocking on the door.

Clients & Programs

Coaching Agreement

If you’re a coach, your relationships with your coaching clients are pretty stinking important. The Coaching Agreement helps you set expectations and boundaries and gets you paid. With the paperwork out of the way, you can focus on a smooth working relationship with clients.

Group coaching Agreement

If you’re a coach that delivers a one-to-many coaching program, you definitely need the group coaching agreement. This agreement clarifies your pricing and payment structures, what clients will be getting when they join, your refund policy, and the term of the program.

Guest Coach Agreement

Are you thinking about bringing in other experts to coach your one-to-many coaching clients? Make sure your guest coach understands their roles and responsibilities with the Guest Coach Agreement! This will outline everything from what you expect of them in terms of their time, their contribution to your program, who owns what, how much they’ll be paid, and more.

Course Agreement

If you’ve got an online course, you’ve poured your heart and soul into creating it. And it’s pretty important to your business. You need to protect it and make sure you’ve got your legal ducks in a row. The Course Agreement gives you peace of mind that you’ve got it covered!

Guest Teacher Agreement

Own a digital course? Thinking about having another expert contribute some lessons or other content to your course? Make sure you use the guest teacher agreement! This agreement will outline who will own the contributed content, how much the guest teacher will be compensated, and more.

Membership Agreement

If you’ve got a membership site, you know how sweet it is to get that recurring revenue. But you need to make sure you are protected and have all your legal ducks in a row (including a solid cancellation policy). That’s where the Membership Agreement template comes in!

Client Agreement

If you work directly with clients, those relationships are the lifeblood of your business. You absolutely need to protect them… and to protect yourself! That’s where the Client Agreement comes into play. With it, you’ll have confidence that you and your client are in agreement and aren’t heading for a nasty fight.

Copywriting Agreement

If you’re a copywriter who works one-on-one with clients, you need a client agreement that is tailored to your specific business. One that’s built to cover you for day rates, project rates, retainers, or hourly rates. The Copywriting Agreement has you covered.

Digital Product Agreement

If you sell digital products or are thinking about selling digital products outside of courses and memberships, then this is the agreement you should use. Think templates, graphics, and any other downloadable file that you sell as part of your product suite. This is where the digital product agreement comes in handy.

General Non-Disclosure Agreement

If you share any confidential information – things like your leads list, your way of doing things, or any other knowledge you’ve built up – without a confidentiality agreement in place, you could lose it. The Non-Disclosure Agreement protects your secret sauce when you need to share it with others.

Mutual Confidentiality Agreement

Investigating a potential joint venture? Talking about a broad partnership with another entrepreneur? If so, you’ll both be sharing confidential information and will need a joint confidentiality agreement. No sweat. You’ll have the Mutual Confidentiality Agreement for these situations.

Workers & Hiring

Virtual Assistant Agreement

Hiring a virtual assistant is a great way to leverage your time (and get more done). But you need to make sure you have a written agreement that lays out what is expected of each of you, protects your secret sauce, and ensures that you own the work product.

Overseas Virtual Assistant Agreement

Looking at hiring a virtual assistant located outside of the US? Make sure you use the Overseas VA Agreement to clarify the role you’re hiring them for, their scope of work, their compensation, and when they’ll be paid.

Contractor Agreement

Are you thinking of hiring an independent contractor… you know a copywriter, or designer? If so, you need a written agreement that sets out the relationship, protects your secret sauce, and gives you ownership of their work. That’s where the Contractor Agreement comes in.

Employee IP Transfer Agreement

Do you know who actually owns the work your employees produce for your business? If not, that’s a recipe for disaster. The IP Transfer Agreement ensures that you actually own the work product your employees create for you.

Employee Confidentiality Agreement

Imagine how much it would suck if one of your employees left your business only to start using YOUR secret sauce to compete with you. Once you start using Employee Confidentiality Agreements, you don’t have to worry about that anymore.

Employee Offer Letter

Considering making an offer of employment to someone? Make it official with a clear employee offer letter and make sure you and your new employee are on the same page from the very start. Avoid disputes on pay, work hour expectations, benefits, and more by using the Employee Offer Letter template!

Publicity Releases

Publicity Release

Want to highlight someone else in your content? The general publicity release can be used for just about any context where you want to use someone’s name, image, or likeness in your business.

Podcast Guest Release

If you are a podcaster who has guests on your show… you REALLY need to get them to sign a publicity release before the interview. I’ve created a special podcast release form that is tailor made for your guests (and won’t be overwhelming).

Testimonial Release

Got testimonials? If so, you need written testimonial releases. Seriously, before you use a testimonial from one of your raving customers, you need to get permission in writing to use the testimonial and the person’s name, image, and likeness.

Everything Else

Virtual Event Agreement

Thinking about hosting a virtual event? Make sure you have the proper written agreement that lays out the terms of the event, what they get for the different ticket options, your refund policy, and more. This agreement ensures you and your attendees are on the same page when they purchase a ticket to your event.

Affiliate Agreement

Getting other people to promote your product can be like reaching the promised land… getting paid without the cost of client acquisition! But you need a written agreement with your affiliates to set expectations and avoid disputes.

LLC Operating Agreement

If you are serious about your business, you need to create an LLC. And once you’ve done that, you’re going to need an Operating Agreement, even if you are the only owner or person in your business. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

No... we're not done... even more templates...

Instead of hiring a really expensive lawyer to create your policies and contracts, you can get your hands on EVERY agreement you are likely to need for a single payment.
Jump into the members’ area to get all the legal policies and agreements you need, including your online course agreement, testimonial releases, and an affiliate agreement. With these forms, you’ll know your content is protected and you aren’t going to end up in a nasty dispute with a student down the line!
Jump into the members’ area to grab your coaching agreement and customize it with the help of the easy-to-follow video instructions. With your lawyer-approved coaching agreement in place, you’ll have peace of mind, knowing that your clients won’t stiff you (or stand you up).
Easy peasy… just grab the independent contractor agreement to use with your first, outside hires. With that agreement in place, you’ll know that your workers have to protect your valuable know-how and that you actually own all the content they create for your business.
Snag the terms of use, privacy policy, and disclaimer templates from the membership area and customize them with the instructions. With these policies in place, you won’t have to worry about the “legal stuff” so you’ll be able to focus on what’s really important – building your amazeballs business.
You’ll get the templates you need to set your business up to scale. No more creating your own contracts from scratch… No more searching the interwebs and downloading free templates just HOPING they are right for your business…

No more winging it!

The End Result: no surprise lawsuits and supreme peace of mind knowing your digital ass(ets) are covered.

Don't take my word for it...

Breakthrough Coach

Yep… if you are building an online business around your services or information-based products, the Legal Templates will work for your business.

The Legal Templates that are included in the Online Genius Template Library are the policies and agreements that coaches, web designers, online course creators, and other infopreneurs will need at some point during their business…

So yeah… you’re in the right place!

That’s the great part about the Legal Templates… they were built with busy online entrepreneurs in mind! When you sign up, you’ll be able to get your legal stuff in order quickly and easily.

The Legal Templates are the cornerstone for getting your protection in place, and you can get those customized for your business in a single morning (or afternoon… if you’re not a morning person).

The templates are foolproof… so if you have a VA, they’ll be able to customize the Legal Templates for you!

Uh, we seriously need to have a talk about priorities here… because we all need to have at least one free hour in our weeks!

In the meantime, you can certainly have your intern or assistant get the Legal Templates customized for your business. I designed these forms to be easy to complete.

If your assistant understands your business already, they should be able to customize the Legal Templates for you without much input on your end.

Of course, these documents are a pretty big deal… so you’ll definitely want to take some time to review what your assistant puts together for you.

When you buy The Online Genius Template Library, you are getting lifetime access. This isn’t an annual payment or something that will require you to shell out more money down the line. You get access for as long as the Template Library exists.

Forever is a hard concept because, you know, that’s like trillions of years. I can’t promise you access that long, but you will have access as long as the Library is around.

If I decide to shut the Template Library down, I will give you at least 30-days notice and give you the chance to download all the forms and all the video instructions.

You can learn all the details by checking out The Online Genius Template Library Terms and Conditions.

Lamentably, no.

Your Online Genius LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. We provide education and information to help online entrepreneur do-it-themselves.

When you join the Template Library, you are getting access to the Legal Templates… you are not hiring Bobby or anyone else as your attorney.

But let’s be honest… would you really want a lawyer who you could actually hire without even talking to them on the phone?!?!

The good news, is that by joining the Template Library, you are going to start to build a relationship with a lawyer with 16 years experience who graduated with honors from Harvard Law School. If you find that you need to hire a lawyer down the line, you’ll have a pretty good idea where to start.

If you have an especially complicated online business… or if you are already regularly making seven figures a year, you really ought to have an attorney that you work with.

In fact, as soon as you can afford it, you probably should start building a relationship with a lawyer.

But here’s the thing, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t grab The Online Genius Template Library.

Even the big-name entrepreneurs who regularly make multiple seven figures a year usually don’t hire lawyers to draft their agreements from scratch.

Nope… they buy things like the Legal Templates and then get their lawyers to tweak them.

I know because a lot of “names you know” in the space are actually using one or more of my legal templates in their businesses.

The best first step is for you to grab the Template Library and then you can make a decision whether you need more.

Here’s the plain truth… you’ll learn a TON from the Template Library no matter where you live.

I mean, the Templates have to be set-up to protect online entrepreneurs who are doing across borders (they’d be kind of useless otherwise).

But here’s the caveat, the Legal Templates are drafted from the perspective of contract law in the United States. They include provisions that are unique to the US and include provisions that are probably only enforceable in the US.

If you are outside the United States, you’ll definitely want to get these reviewed by a lawyer in your home country just to make sure they have all the necessary legal niceties.

The Online Genius Template Library is a true “all-access-pass.” You get not only all the legal templates I currently have available for sale but also any I introduce in the future.

As I add templates to my Template Shop in the future, they’ll automatically get added to the Template Library. That’s right, you’ll get access to any new forms as soon as they are released.

You’ll pay once and get the templates you need forever! Think about that for a second… for just $997, you’ll get all your legal templates now and in the future!
