Serve-first entrepreneurs ask: have I given more value than I’ve gotten in return? This should be our goal. The concept of giving over taking should show up in relationships with your customers and audience and eventually with your team, peers, vendors, and more. Relationships matter in business.
The more you increase the difference between the value your customer gets and what you charge them is how you shift into a serve-first mindset. People who are trying to squeeze out every last dollar as sellers don’t succeed in the long term. Customers don’t want to do business with people who are cut-throat and only focused on getting the most from them.
